L’artiste, toujours alerte, capture l’évènement aléatoire qui le choque, l’étonne ou bien encore qui l’émeut.
Acceptant le hasard et son aboutissement, Grégoire Soussan intègre à sa démarche artistique des éléments qui ne dépendent en rien de son initiative personnelle. En effet, de New York à la région Paris en passant par les collines d’Hollywood, l’accident devient le processus créatif et les clichés des pièces à conviction.

EN - For the philosopher Jean Grenier, friend of non-figurative painters: “it is the accident that makes the artist” and what is true for the visual artist is also true for the artist photographer. The artist, always alert, captures the random event that shocks, surprises or even moves him. Accepting chance and its outcome, Grégoire Soussan incorporates into his artistic approach elements that in no way depend on his personal initiative. Indeed, from New York to the Paris region via the Hollywood hills, the accident becomes the creative process and the clichés of the exhibits.
